Laurent Proneur
Laurent Proneur is a French artist born in 1969 into a circus family in Paris. Raised among performers and storytellers, he began his artistic journey beneath the big top before turning to the streets of Montmartre and Belleville, where he emerged as “LONEroc,” a pioneering voice in the French Street Art movement. Influenced by graffiti, hip-hop, and raw urban expression, his early collaborations with artists like Banksy and Mode2 solidified his place in the underground scene.
He later studied at Les Beaux-Arts de Paris, where he graduated with distinction. His work blends the spontaneity of street art with classical illustration, creating a style that is both unconventional and deeply rooted in tradition. Now based in Los Angeles, his pieces continue to evolve, fusing European and American influences, and have earned international recognition for their vibrant storytelling and emotional depth.
